Each TV company used their own intentions to utilize an active wifi connection. However, each company used the wifi connection to allow users to access their favorite movie and TV streaming services, such as Hulu and Netflix. Every geek out there that is aware of the new Chromecast, or even anyone who knows how to stream content from their computer or phone, most likely has a gaming console. All gaming consoles have features that allow internet streaming to music, video, and even picture services; everything Chromecast does and more.
Google, we appreciate your intention to enter the TV industry by giving us products made by you… We are going to have to pass. Sorry, hundreds of other companies have beaten you to the point. Please, come up with something revolutionary to the TV industry, not something everyone already has. How about an adapter that allows live TV streaming via the internet?
